3Kings Kafe & Kitchen - live project @WMAIndia

Part-2 of our #live project +Web Marketing Academy

Coming back to the actual world after all the fun, food and laughter with team-mates at Kings Kafe it's time for us to get serious about the live project of handling the social media of the restaurant.

And, here we go....
Post our briefing session from Mr.Paul of Kings Kafe, we did a lot of brainstorming with our mentor Mr.Suresh Babu and Ms. Manasi.

Through this we came up with a Strategy & Proposal so as to list down the objectives & goals, Challenges & opportunities, Strategies and Steps to get footfalls to the restaurant through Digital Media, mainly Social media.

Then came the content calendar for the social media; we had to break our heads as how to divide the content for each day and schedule events for the coming 3 months as our plan was a short term to start with.

We took this to Paul and had a discussion with him and got a positive response. So now how to execute this plan, was the question. Again we were stuck for days and doing nothing.

Then we got inputs and guidance from Suresh & Manasi so we started registering the restaurant on the food review sites and then creating their profile online. We faced a lot of challenges and were confused and lost at this juncture but the trainers of @WMAIndia are pretty cool as they are approachable any time and are always on their toes to help.

So the process of getting the business/restaurant online is progressing pretty well and hoping to see some results in few days.

Next is how do we start our social media campaigns....so right now we are banging our heads against the wall. Will update soon on what happened or what's going to happen in my next.

Why should NGOs use social media?

Why should NGOs use social media? Social media is one of the best ways to start connecting to people as social itself means “people” and we need people to begin for any NGO to work. Through social media, we can connect to our audience (be it, partners or donors). Social media creates a relationship between the donors and the NGO, unlike the website which acts as a notice board or journal. Social media helps in creating connections between the donor and getting feedback along with contributions for the causes too in terms of money and volunteers. As social media has become an integral part of the daily lives of all human beings, NGOs should not miss the chance to use them too for the causes and to raise funds. Important reasons for NGOs to be on Facebook Social media has occupied the majority of our lives today and especially after the pandemic, people’s life has become virtual and almost all activities happen online including connecting with family and friends to transacting fo...
